adding gears and a "proper" mtb fork will make it super versatile...what fork you thinking of?

the frame broke because i was hitting a pretty big jump but i bailed and let go of the bike in the air and the front wheel hit straight into the landing causing the down tube to buckle. Hopefully the fork is fin ill have to check if its bent.
